Oh, well, rather sporadic blogging marked the end of 2014, I really hope to get my eager back. Over the last few months I've invested in more Lensbaby equipment, and I'm looking forward to learning more about this optical system's possibilities. When it comes to nature photography, I have found myself drawn towards a more experimental expression rather than the traditional "pretty" fine art landscapes. With the latest addition of macro converters and other creative tools, my Lensbaby Composer Pro ought to become a great photo companion!
My very last photowalk of 2014 went to Haslatangen, one of my favourite places - it offers a limitless variation of motives, whether you prefer the open sea, the birch forest, or beach details (or like me: thank you, I'll take it all!). I brought my wide angle lens, and took a lovely photo with the sunset behind me, then I grabbed my Lensbaby with the Edge 80 optic attached and continued shooting. The Edge 80 is my favourite optic, but also very demanding - it gives a slice of focus, and it's often hard to determine if you get that slice right by looking into the viewfinder (especially after dark).
